While having now returned to live in Kingston, ON for almost three decades, I have previously pursued my evolving artistic career while living in other cities in Ontario as well as in London, England. Experiences gained in each unique location have contributed to an expanded network of contacts, exhibition opportunities and exposure.
Teaching drawing, painting and design for over 20 years at various Ontario community colleges has also nurtured my creative sensibilities and sharpened my communication skills to share these rewarding experiences.
Various community-based projects that I have been involved with over the years have contributed to a richer commitment to and understanding of art. Some examples include: a commissioned large-scale mural for the Toronto Eaton Centre, a commissioned storefront installation in Windsor, ON, being a Steering Committee member for the Cambridge Arts Forum and participating as a Board Member for OKWA (Organization of Kingston Women Artists).
